NIT Delhi Recruitment 2024 Notification Out for 01 Junior Research Fellow, Check Eligibility at nitdelhi.ac.in
The National Institute of Technology Delhi is seeking applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the Chips to Startup (C2S) Programme. The project aims to develop a novel power-on pilot IC for ultra-low power wireless IoT devices, sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India.
The JRF position requires a Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering disciplines and a Master's degree in fields like VLSI Design, Microelectronics, or Embedded Design. The age limit for the JRF position is not exceeding 30 years as of the closing date of the application. The selected candidate will receive an emolument of Rs. 37,000/- for the first 2 years and Rs. 42,000/- pm for the 3rd year, along with House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per GoI norms.
Desirable qualifications include knowledge in Verilog HDL, Cadence Tool, and Synopsys TCAD, among others. The appointment will be purely project-based and temporary, governed by the administrative rules of Research & Consultancy at NIT Delhi. Qualification for NIT Delhi Recruitment 2024
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering or other relevant discipline. and
- Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology in the fields of VLSI Design/ Microelectronics/Embedded Design/ECE or other relevant discipline, with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (or) CGPA of 6.5/10 in UG or PG for JRF under GEN/EWS/OBC category and 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA of 6.0 for SC/ST candidates.
- Knowledge in Verilog HDL, Cadence Tool, Siemens EDA Tools (Mentor graphics), Synopsys TCADetc.
Pay Scale for NIT Delhi Recruitment 2024
The National Institute of Technology Delhi (NIT Delhi) is offering a pay scale of Rs. 37,000/- for the first 2 years and Rs. 42,000/- per month for the 3rd year for the position of Junior Research Fellow. Additionally, House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be provided as per the norms of the Government of India.
Age Limit for NIT Delhi Recruitment 2024
For the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at the National Institute of Technology Delhi (NIT Delhi), the age limit is not exceeding 30 years as of the closing date of the application. Age relaxation is applicable as per the norms of the Government of India.
