An online interview is scheduled on 20th May 2024 for the engagement of a Senior Research Fellow on a contract basis for a duration of two years, initially for six months, extendable based on performance. The project, sponsored by DYSL-CT, DRDO, aims at developing a Software Simulation framework replicating Cognitive Radar and a system to estimate its capability.
Essential qualifications include an M.Tech in Signal Processing/Machine Learning/ECE or related fields with a first-class B.Tech in ECE or equivalent, or an M.Sc. in Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics with a valid GATE/NET score. Two years of research and development experience is required, with relaxation possible if no suitable candidate is found, in which case the position will be offered at the JRF scale. Desired qualifications include GATE/NET qualification and experience in system modeling, machine learning, and signal processing tools.
The maximum age limit is 35 years, with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Indian government norms. The consolidated monthly pay is Rs. 42,000 plus 18% HRA. Applicants must submit a registration form, CV, and supporting documents via email by 17th May 2024. Shortlisted candidates will be notified for the online interview, and the Institute reserves the right to relax qualifications for exceptional candidates. Pay Scale for NIT Calicut Recruitment 2024
NIT Calicut is offering a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 42,000/- (Rupees Forty-two thousand only) for the position of Senior Research Fellow, along with an additional 18% House Rent Allowance (HRA).
