NIPGR Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Research Associate-I Vacancies , Check Eligibility at nipgr.ac.in

The National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR) in New Delhi is seeking applications for the position of Research Associate-I for a SERB project under the supervision of Dr. Manoj Majee. The project focuses on investigating the role of AtSKIP31 – JAZ – ABI TFs module in integrating ABA – JA signalling for the acquisition of seed desiccation tolerance and seed vigor in Arabidopsis thaliana.

The position offers a monthly emolument of Rs. 47000 plus 24% House Rent Allowance (HRA) as sanctioned in the project. Eligible candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Life Sciences or equivalent, with prior experience in seed biology, raising transgenics, and molecular analysis. The appointment is temporary, initially for one year or until the project's tenure, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Qualification for NIPGR Recruitment 2024

• Candidates having a doctorate (Ph. D) degree in Life Sciences or equivalent with a good publication record and fulfilling the DST/SERB guidelines (as per SERB OM Mo. SB/S9/Z-06/2019 dated 23/04/2019) are eligible to apply.
• Prior experience in seed biology, raising transgenics and genome editing lines (Arabidopsis/Rice), molecular analysis of transgenic and genome-editing events is highly desirable.
