The National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR) has released a recruitment notification for the position of Senior Research Fellow for the year 2024. There is one vacancy available, with a salary of Rs. 42,000/- plus HRA per month.

Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Plant Science, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or equivalent from a recognized university with 60% marks, along with at least two years of post-Master’s research experience in Molecular Biology, Gene Function analysis, Biotechnology, and Crop Genetic Improvement.

• Candidates having Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Plant Science/Life Sciences/Biotechnology or equivalent from a recognized university or related field with 60% marks with at least two years of post-Master’s research experience in Molecular Biology, Gene Function analysis, Biotechnology and Crop Genetic Improvement and fulfilling the guidelines/norms of DST Office memorandum No. DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated June 26, 2023, are eligible to apply.
