The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) is inviting applications for the position of Research Assistant on a contract basis for the Piramal Swasthya Management and Research Institute (PSMRI), Piramal Foundation.
The vacancy is for one position, located in Bangalore, with a salary of Rs. 45,000 per month. Applicants must possess an M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work or Clinical Psychology, preferably with prior experience in Women and Mental Health, Domestic Violence, or Gender-Based Violence.
Proficiency in English and Hindi is required. The duration of the post is three years, with an initial appointment for one year, extendable based on performance. The selection will be based on merit and performance in written and/or skill tests, and shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.

Pay Scale for NIMHANS Recruitment 2024
Emoluments: Rs. 45,000/- (consolidated). Duration of the post: 3 years. Initial appointment will be made for a period of 1 year, which will be extended every year for three years (or till the end of the project) depending upon the performance of the candidate.
Selection Procedure for NIMHANS Recruitment 2024
The final appointment of candidates will be decided based on his/ her merit and performance in the written and/or skill test. Only the short listed candidates will be called for written and/or interview.
