NIMHANS is inviting applications for three positions of Project Research Scientist-I on a contract basis as part of the ICMR-funded project titled “Development of an artificial intelligence system to detect early shared neural biomarkers of ASD and ADHD from multi-modal neuroimaging.” The job location is Bengaluru, and the maximum age limit for applicants is 35 years.
The selected candidates will receive a salary of Rs. 56,000/- plus HRA at 27% for the first and second years, with a 5% increment in the third year. Key responsibilities include patient recruitment, speech and language assessments, and coordination with the clinical psychology and MRI teams for neuropsychological evaluations and MRI scanning.
Proficiency in Kannada, English, and Hindi is required. Qualifications Details for NIMHANS Recruitment 2024
- M. Tech / B.E/ B. Tech in Engineering discipline or M. Sc in Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Cognitive Neuroscience or Master's degree in Basic Science with a desire to work in the field of Neurosciences and Neuroimaging.
- Preference will be given to candidate qualified any National Eligibility Test (NET) exam such as UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DST/DBT- JRF or equivalent exam.
- Research Experience in MRI data acquisition and image processing using various image analysis software (e.g., SPM/FSL/Free Surfer).
- Communication skills in Kannada, English, and Hindi.
