Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the vacant posts of Clinical Psychologist (On Contract Basis) mentioned below in the prescribed form from the Indian Nationals. NIMHANS (National Institute Of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences) has announced recruitment for 11 vacant positions of Clinical Psychologist on a contract basis in Bengaluru. Eligible candidates, who must be Indian nationals, should possess a first or second-class M.A/M.Sc degree in Psychology from a recognized university.
Additionally, candidates with an M.Phil in Mental Health and Social Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or equivalent qualification recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) are eligible. Knowledge of modern psycho diagnostic techniques and psychological treatment methods or research experience is required.
The salary for the position is in Level 6 of the Pay Matrix, ranging from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month as per the 7th CPC. The initial contract is for one year, renewable for subsequent years based on satisfactory performance. Qualification for NIMHANS Recruitment 2024
- I Class/ II Class M.A/M.Sc degree in Psychology from a recognized University / Institution.
- M.Phil in Mental Health and Social Psychology/M.Phil in Clinical Psychology/ or equivalent qualification from an institution/university recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Conversant with modern technique on psycho diagnostic and psychological methods of treatment / research experience.
Pay Scale for NIMHANS Recruitment 2024
Pay Matrix: In Level 6: Rs.35,400 -1,12, 400/- (As per 7th CPC). Initial Pay in the Pay Matrix is Rs. 35,400/-. On contract basis for one year likely to be renewed for 2nd & 3rd year depending upon the satisfactory performance of duties.
