The National Institute of Immunology (NII) is recruiting a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a position based in New Delhi. Qualifications Details for NII Recruitment 2024
- M.Sc./M.Tech degree in any area of Life Sciences/Chemical Sciences with good academic record. M.Sc. candidates should have qualified any National Level Eligibility test such as (NET/GATE etc.) for applying for the above position.
- The preference will be given to candidates who have hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: cell biology (bacterial and cell culture), handling of mouse models, and organ harvesting, and are well-versed in molecular biology techniques.
Pay Scale for NII Recruitment 2024
- The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will be responsible for conducting experimental procedures including cell culture maintenance, AAV virus production, quantitative analysis, in vivo silencing using mouse models, qPCR gene analysis, and western blot protein assays. Duties also include meticulous data documentation and upkeep of laboratory records.
- The position offers a consolidated monthly emolument of Rs. 31,000 plus 27% House Rent Allowance (HRA), in accordance with Institute Rules and funding agency guidelines, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.

- The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or duration of the project whichever is shorter, at a time.
- No hostel/ housing facility will be provided.
