NIH Roorkee is conducting a walk-in interview for the recruitment of two Junior Research Fellows for various projects. Candidates with a Post Graduate Degree in basic sciences or a Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course are eligible to apply.
The emoluments offered for this position are Rs. 37,000/- per month along with HRA. The maximum age limit for Junior Research Fellow is 28 years, with age relaxation as per Government rules.
Interested candidates should attend the walk-in interview at NIH Roorkee on 10th May 2024, along with their bio-data, passport size photograph, original proof of qualification and experience, and self-attested copies of certificates.

Qualification for NIH Roorkee Recruitment 2024
Post Graduate Degree in basic sciences (Environmental Science/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology) OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Environmental/ Chemical Engg.) Selection through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, NISER etc.
Post Graduate Degree in Geophysics/Hydrology/Geo-informatics/Land and Water Resources Selection through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBI, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR. ICMR, IIT, IISc, NISER etc. Madamen
Pay Scale for NIH Roorkee Recruitment 2024
Emoluments per month: Rs. 37.000/- + HRA (as admissible). The selected candidates shall not be entitled to any allowance such as Dearness Allowance. Residential Telephone. Transport facility. Personal Staff etc.
Age Limit for NIH Roorkee Recruitment 2024
Maximum Age for Junior Research Fellow will be 28 years, as on the date of interview. Age relaxation of SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically handicapped candidates as per Govt. of India rules.

- Candidates can directly attend the walk-in-interview on the prescribed date, time at NIH along with complete bio-data, passport size photograph and original proof of qualification and experience.
- They must also bring with them self-attested copies of their certificates.
