The National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases (NICED) has announced a recruitment notification for the position of Project Technical Support. Under the ad-hoc research project titled "Correlating Prescription patterns with resistance in commensal bacteria for one health-based stewardship intervention," there are 02 vacancies to be filled on a purely temporary basis.
The monthly remuneration for Project Technical Support III is Rs. 28,000/- with 27% HRA, while for Project Technical Support II, it is Rs. 20,000/- with 27% HRA. The age limit for Project Technical Support III is not exceeding 35 years, and for Project Technical Support II, it is not exceeding 30 years.
Eligible candidates can attend the walk-in interview on 24.04.2024, at ICMR-National Institute of Cholera & Enteric Diseases (NICED II building within ID & BG Hospital Campus) in Kolkata. The reporting time for registration & screening is from 9.00 A.M. to 10.00 A.M., and the interview will commence at 10.30 A.M. Candidates should bring an application in the prescribed format, along with relevant documents.

Position, Vacancy for NICED Recruitment 2024
The following project positions are to be filled up on purely temporary basis on a monthly consolidated remuneration under the ad-hoc research project entitled "Correlating Prescription patterns with resistance in commensal bacteria for one health-based stewardship intervention" under Dr. Pallavi Indwar, Scientist D and P.l. of the project.

Qualification for NICED Recruitment 2024
Project Technical Support III
Three Years Graduate in relevant subject/ field + three years' experience or PG in relevant subject / field. M.Sc. in Microbiology or Biotechnology, having good writing skill of scientific communications and knowledge of computer
Project Technical Support II
12th in Science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT/ Engineering) + five years' experience in relevant subject / field. Desirable: B.Sc. in Microbiology or Biotechnology, working experience in isolation and characterization of bacteria from clinical samples and knowledge of computer.
Pay Scale for NICED Recruitment 2024
- Project Technical Support III: Monthly Remuneration is Rs. 28,000/- 27% HRA
- Project Technical Support II: Monthly Remuneration is Rs. 20,000/- + 27% HRA
Age Limit for NICED Recruitment 2024
- Project Technical Support III: Not exceeding 35 years
- Project Technical Support II: Not exceeding 30 years
- Age relaxation is admissible in respect of SC/ST and OBC (Govt. of India non creamy layer certificate) candidates against the reserved post and also to retrenched Government Employees, Departmental Candidates (including project) and Ex-Servicemen in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time.
- Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons as prescribed in ICMR Project Recruitment Rule dated 24.08.2016.
Selection Procedure for NICED Recruitment 2024
Date of written test/ walk-in-interview may be changed due to administrative reasons, hence, candidates are advised to check website before appearing for written test/walk-in-interview.
