The National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad, is seeking applications from eligible candidates to fill the position of Project Assistant under the DST-Inspire Faculty grant titled "Role of Ndfip proteins in APP processing and degradation: implications in Alzheimer’s disease." The essential qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology/Biochemistry) with research experience in academic institutions or Science and Technology organizations.
Desirable experience in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology, gene cloning, and western blotting will be preferred. The fellowship amount for the position is Rs. 20,000/- per month plus 24% HRA (if applicable) as per DST guidelines. The maximum age limit for applicants is 50 years, with relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions.
Interested candidates meeting the criteria are required to attend a walk-in interview at NIAB, Hyderabad, on April 22, 2024, at 10:00 am. They should bring a photograph and copies of documents supporting date of birth, educational qualifications, and experience certificates.
