The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced recruitment for multiple positions under its Technical Forensic Psychologist and More category, offering a total of 30 posts. Candidates interested in applying must meet specific educational and experience criteria outlined by NIA.

For the role of Technical Forensic Psychologist, applicants need a Master's degree in Criminology or Clinical Psychology from a recognized university, along with three years of relevant experience in applied Psychology or Criminology/Crime Investigation.

Similarly, the position of Finger Print Expert requires candidates to hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science or any Science subject with Chemistry, coupled with three years' experience in laboratory development and fingerprint identification. For Explosive Expert, a Master's degree in Chemistry or Forensic Science is required, with five years' experience in examining explosives and firearms.

Qualifications Details for NIA Recruitment 2024

• Masters' degree in Criminology or Clinical Psychology regular course from a recognised University.
• Three years' experience in applied Psychology or Criminology / Crime Investigation.
• M.Sc. Degree in any Science Subject or M.Sc. in Forensic Science; or B.Sc. Degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects from a recognised University.
• Three years' experience in a laboratory in development and identification of Finger print.
• Master's degree in Chemistry or M.Sc. in Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of SHI,IPS the subjects at B. Sc. Level from agency recognised university.
• Five years' experience in examination of explosives and fire arms.
• Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer Technology or Masters' degree in Computer Apolication./ Comnuter Science or Information Technology or Master of Technology in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognised University: and
• Master's Degree in Bio-technology / Analytical chemistry or physics / forensic science from a recognised university;
• Three years' experience in crime scene processing in Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Statutory or Autonomous organisations / Public Sector Undertakings / Universities / Recognised Research Institutions.

  • Pay Matrix Level: 10 (Rs 56,100 - 1,77,500/-)
  • Pre-revised PB-3 with GP Rs. 5400/-

• Finger Print Expert

  • Pay Matrix Level: 10 (Rs 56,100 - 1,77,500/-)
  • Pre-revised PB-3 with GP Rs. 5400/-

• Explosive Expert

  • Pay Matrix Level: 10 (Rs 56,100 - 1,77,500/-)

• Cyber Forensic Examiner
