The National Insurance Academy (NIA) Pune has released a recruitment notification for the position of Faculty Member. The position is open to retired officers and officers retiring on or before May 31, 2024, from the Non-Life Insurance Industry (public/private).
Applicants must have a graduate or post-graduate degree in any general stream, management, engineering, law, agriculture, or horticulture, along with a minimum of 25 years of working experience in GIPSA Companies, AICIL, GIC Re, or private insurance companies. The age limit for this position is 62 years.
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 1,50,000/- along with Rs. 30,000/- towards house rent. Accommodation may be provided at the NIA Campus subject to availability. The last date to apply is May 15, 2024. Applications must be submitted both by email and post to the specified addresses provided in the notification.

Position and Place of Posting for NIA Pune Recruitment 2024
Applications are invited from the eligible Retired Officers and Officers who retire on or before 31st May 2024 from the Non-Life Insurance Industry (public/private) for considering selection to the following position on contract basis: Position & Place: Faculty Member on contract, National Insurance Academy, Pune.
Qualification for NIA Pune Recruitment 2024
Qualifications
Graduate / post-graduate in any general stream, Management, Engineering, Law, Agriculture, Horticulture. Associate / Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India or equivalent.
Professional/ Work Experience:
Minimum 25 years working experience in GIPSA Companies, AICIL, GIC Re or private insurance companies and must have worked in operational area & /or technical area and retired from Scale V, VI or VII cadres or similar positions in private insurance companies.
Interest/Attributes:
Interest and demonstrated evidence in training/teaching/research/ and project works. candidates must have a flair for Academic work
Pay Scale for NIA Pune Recruitment 2024
A consolidated salary of Rs.1,50,000/- plus Rs.30,000/- towards house rent. Accommodation may be provided at NIA Campus subject to availability and policy provisions; in such case Rs.30,000/- towards house rent will not be paid. The position will report to Chair Professor (General Insurance)

Selection Procedure for NIA Pune Recruitment 2024
- Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. No further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
