The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), a joint venture between the Government of India and participating state governments, is spearheading the ambitious High-Speed Train Corridor Project in India, notably the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route. In its endeavor to become an employer of choice, NHSRCL is seeking applications from retired or soon-to-retire officials of the Ministry of Railways for the position of Senior Expert (Track) in Surat.
The role entails planning and executing various aspects of track infrastructure, including ballast and ballast-less track, turnouts, and maintenance coordination. Applicants must hold a B.E/B. Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent, possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, and have served in the designated pay-scale.

Qualifications Details for NHSRCL Recruitment 2024
Eligibility Criteria:
- B.E/B. Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent from recognized institute / university
- Working/Retired/Resigned from service in the pay-scale of Rs.15600-39100 (GP-6600) (L-11) of CDA Pay scales.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the areas detailed in the job description.
- In case of Indian Railway (IR) officials who have resigned or voluntarily retired, they will have to relinquish their services (from IR) within 24 months of applying to NHSRCL.
Age Limit for NHSRCL Recruitment 2024
The engagement period for candidates who have not reached the age of superannuation, i.e., 60 years, will extend up to the age of 60. The minimum age requirement for applicants is either 55 or 60 years, depending on their status: 55 years for Indian Railway (IR) officials who resigned or voluntarily retired, and 60 years for other retired officials.
Selection Process for NHSRCL Recruitment 2024
- Shortlisted candidates will appear for a personal interaction (which will involve candidates making a brief presentation on the jobs handled by them & their experience in the areas detailed in the job description.
- Eligible candidates shortlisted based on the initial scrutiny will be called for interview. Suitable communications in this regard will be sent to the candidates individually.
- Selected candidates during the period of his/her employment will be required to serve at any location/office of NHSRCL.
