Baira Siul Power Station, NHPC Limited, a Mini Ratna Category-I Enterprise under the Government of India, is seeking eligible candidates to undergo apprenticeship training as per the Apprentice Act, 1961. There are a total of 50 apprentice positions available across various trades.
Applicants must meet the educational qualifications specified in the eligibility criteria. Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training, terminated training midway, or are currently undergoing apprenticeship elsewhere, including other units of NHPC, are ineligible.
Additionally, candidates who obtained their ITI/technical qualification through distance learning/part-time mode are not eligible to apply. Interested candidates should submit their applications within 15 days of the notification date

Qualification for NHPC Recruitment 2024
Eligibility Criteria (Minimum Educational Qualification): ITI Pass in respective Trade (NCVT/SCVT) (Regular Mode). Candidates who have obtained their ITI /Technical qualification through distance learning/ part time mode are NOT eligible to apply
Pay Scale for NHPC Recruitment 2024
For NHPC Recruitment 2024, the stipend for apprentices will be provided in accordance with the norms of the Apprentice Act, 1961, and the guidelines of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. Specific details regarding the stipend amounts for different apprenticeship positions can be found in the official notification or as per the guidelines mentioned by the Ministry.
Age Limit for NHPC Recruitment 2024
For NHPC Recruitment 2024, the age limit for applicants is set between 18 to 30 years. However, there is relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates as per government directives. This age limit ensures that applicants meet the specified eligibility criteria for consideration for various positions within NHPC.
Selection Procedure for NHPC Recruitment 2024
- The eligible and shortlisted candidates will be issued call letter through mail for interview intimating date/time and venue.
- Selecion of candidates will be made on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification applicable to the respective trade, Performance in the Personal Interview and successful verification of their documents.
- The weightage to Educational Qualification, Technical Qualification and Personal Interview shall be 20%, 40% and 40% respectively for final selection.
- The selected candidates are required to submit a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by District Civil Surgeon or equivalent authority before engagement as Apprentice Trainee, as per the Apprentice Act, 1961.
How to Apply for NHPC Recruitment 2024
- Last date for submission of Applications for all Trades is within 15 days of Notification date.
- The Candidate must go through the terms & conditions as mentioned in the notification
- The candidate must have a valid mobile number & E-Mail ID before applying for apprenticeship. The eligible candidates should register themselves on Apprenticeship portal at www.apprenticeship.gov.in and apply through the portal.
- The Registration number, generated in the portal should be mentioned in the relevant column of Apprenticeship Application Form of Baira Siul Power Station.
- The candidate has to take print out of Apprenticeship Application form and send along with Passport size photograph, all the self-attested certificates of Educational qualification, ITI Mark sheets & certificates, Domicile certificate, Caste Certificate, copy of Adhaar card, PAN card etc. to the below mentioned
