NHM Chandigarh Recruitment 2024
The National Health Mission Chandigarh (NHM Chandigarh) has announced recruitment for 14 medical positions, including Medical Officer, SMO, and General Duty Medical Officer. The positions offer a salary of Rs. 45,000/- and are open to candidates up to 60 years old. Applicants must hold an MBBS degree from a recognized university, complete one year of compulsory internship, and be registered with the State Medical Council or Medical Council of India. Additionally, candidates should have completed at least six months of post-qualification work experience or a house job. These positions are initially contracted until 31 March 2025, with potential extensions based on performance.
A walk-in interview will be conducted on 8 October 2024 at the Office of the Mission Director, National Health Mission, Chandigarh. Candidates must bring their bio-data, relevant certificates, and a recent passport-size photograph, with registration strictly between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM. Although the posts are reserved for SC/OBC categories, if no suitable candidates apply, they may be filled by general category applicants until 31 March 2025. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview, and the recruitment authority reserves the right to modify the number of posts or cancel the interview without notice.

Qualification for NHM Chandigarh Recruitment 2024
- Medical Officer-MCH under NUHM & NHM: MBBS Degree from recognized university with one year compulsory rotatory internship. Should be registered with State Medical Council or with Medical Council of India-New Delhi. One House Job (six months) in any department or Minimum of six months of Post Qualification work experience
- SMO I/c DR TB Centre (NTEP) under NHM: MBBS Degree from recognized university with one year compulsory rotatory internship. Should be registered with State Medical Council or with Medical Council of India-New Delhi. One House Job (six months) in any department or Minimum of six months of Post Qualification work experience
- Medical Officer(NUH M) under NHM: MBBS Degree from recognized university with one year compulsory rotatory internship. Should be registered with State Medical Council or with Medical Council of India-New Delhi. One House Job (six months) in any department or Minimum of six months of Post Qualification work experience
- Medical Officer /General Duty Medical Officer under PM-ABHIM: MBBS Degree from recognized university with one year compulsory rotatory internship. Should be registered with State Medical Council or with Medical Council of IndiaNew Delhi. One House Job (six months) in any department or Minimum of six months of Post Qualification work experience
Note for NHM Chandigarh Recruitment 2024
- The desirous candidates from Gen/SC/OBC categories who fulfill the eligible criteria as per the advertisement can apply.
- The above mentioned backlog posts of SC/OBC Category under NHM & PMABHIM have been advertised many a times. However, no candidate from reserved category appeared for interview. Hence, this time, if again candidate from the reserved category does not appear for interview, these posts shall be filled from General Category on conditional basis upto 31.03.2025
Walkin Details for NHM Chandigarh Recruitment 2024
- Walk-in-interview On 8 Th October 2024 At 9.30 Am Office Of Mission Director, National Health Mission 4 Th Floor, Administrative Block , Govt. Multi Speciality Hospital, Sector-16, Chandigarh
- These posts are to be filled on contract basis initially upto 31.03.2025 but extendable depending upon performance and conduct etc or duration of the project.
- Desirous candidates having the requisite qualifications mentioned above shall submit their Bio-data on Application Format (available on website) alongwith self attested copies of all certificates/testimonials (from matriculation onwards) and one recent passport size photograph duly attested by Gazetted Officer at the time of walk-in-interview.
- Candidates shall also bring their original certificates. Registration shall be done strictly between 9.30 am to 10.30 am followed by interview. No TA/DA will be paid for interview
- The Mission Director, NHM reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts and even reject Walk-In-Interview without assigning any reason.
