The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has released a recruitment notification for the year 2024, inviting applications for 24 vacancies in the Sports Persons category. Candidates aged between 18 and 25 years, as of January 1, 2024, are eligible to apply.
The positions offer a salary ranging from Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20200, with corresponding grade pays depending on the level. Interested candidates must hold a Graduate or equivalent degree from a recognized university/institution or have passed Class 12th or its equivalent from a recognized Board/Council/Institution. Additionally, they should have passed Class 10th (matriculation) or possess ITI or equivalent qualifications.
The application fee is Rs. 500 for general candidates and Rs. 250 for SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Women, Minority, and Economic Backward Class candidates. Applicants will undergo a selection process involving trials of sports performance and an interview. Qualifications Details for NFR Recruitment 2024
- Graduate or equivalent examination passed from recognised university/institution
- Passed Class 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination from a Govt. recognized Board/Council/Institution.
- Passed Class 10th (matriculation) or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
- Educational qualification must be from a Govt. Recognized Board/ Council/Institutions etc. (Minimum educational qualification should be as applicable to the post offered for NTPC posts). (ii) For appointment against sports quota in Technician-Ill, the minimum educational qualification is class 10' pass.
- However, the training period for such sports quota appointees will be 03 (three) years, unless they nass, bossess 1 qualitication in the relevant trade. in Which case it Will be o monins. pass/ possess ITI qualification in the relevant trade, in which case it will be 6 months. Proof of Age viz., HS/Matriculation certificate issued by a recognised board or equivalent must be produced / attached with the online application.
Age Limit for NFR Recruitment 2024
NFR is looking for talented individuals to join as Sports Persons. There are 24 posts available, with an age requirement of between 18 and 25 years as of January 1, 2024.
Pay Scale for NFR Recruitment 2024
NFR is offering positions for Sports Persons with 24 openings. The salary ranges from Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20200, with corresponding grade pay as follows: Rs. 2800/2400 (Levels - 5 or 4), Rs. 2000/1900 (Levels - 3 or 2), and Rs. 1800 (Level-1).
Application Fee for NFR Recruitment 2024
- For all candidates except those mentioned : Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only).
- For SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Women, Minority and Economic Backward Class candidates: Rs.250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only).
- Candidates who appear for the selection trials will be entitled to a partial refund of the application fee (after deduction of banking and other charges). To receive the refund, candidates must give their bank details in the online application form.
Selection Process for NFR Recruitment 2024
Short-listed eligible candidates will be called for - Trial of sports performance. Interview and assessment of sports achievement, educational qualification etc. Only those candidates who perform better than the existing railway sportspersons in their respective events, and if they fit into the NFRSA team, will be considered for appointment.
