The NESTS Recruitment 2024 has announced vacancies for the positions of Consultant (Academic) and Consultant (HR) with a total of 3 openings. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 60,000.
To be eligible, candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in Education, Social Sciences, Humanities, Public Policy, Sociology, or related disciplines, with a Ph.D. in Education being highly desirable for the Academic Consultant role. For the HR Consultant position, a Master’s degree in Administration or an MBA (HR) is required.
Knowledge of pedagogy, teaching, research methods, and academic curriculum development is essential for the Academic Consultant, while prior experience in tribal education is also desirable. The application process requires interested candidates to submit their applications in the prescribed format by September 5, 2024.
Applications should be sent to the Joint Commissioner (NESTS) at Jeevan Tara Building, New Delhi, with the envelope clearly marked "Application for engagement as Consultant (……….)”.

Qualifications Details for NESTS Recruitment 2024
- Postgraduate degree in Education, Social Sciences, Humanities, Public Policy, Sociology or any other related discipline from a recognized University/ Institution.
- Ph.D in Education Knowledge of pedagogy, teaching and research methods, school assessment, academic curriculum design and curriculum development. Desirable: Prior experience of working on tribal education is desirable.
- Master’s degree in Administration/ MBA (HR) from a recognized University/ Institution
Other Entitlements & Conditions for NESTS Recruitment 2024
- Increment: Remuneration may be enhanced after the completion of one year at rate of increase of CDA rate from the date of contract/last enhancement plus 2% subject to the satisfactory performance of the consultant certified by the head of section/division.
TA/DA for NESTS Recruitment 2024
- No TA/DA shall be admissible for joining the assignment or on its completion.
- No TA/DA shall be payable for attending the interviews.
Attendance & Working days for NESTS Recruitment 2024
- The working hours of the Consultants shall be same as regular Government employees working in NESTS.
- No extra remuneration shall be allowed for working beyond office hours or on Saturdays/ Sundays/ Gazetted holidays.
- The attendance shall be marked in the Biometric system by the Consultants.
Service Condition for NESTS Recruitment 2024
The Consultants shall not, except with the previous sanction of NESTS, in the bona fide discharge of his duties, publish a book or a compilation of articles or participate in a radio broadcast or representing any private entity in legal or commercial matters or contribute an article or write a letterto any newspaper or periodical, eitherin his own name or anonymously or pseudonymous in the name of any other person, if such book, article, broadcast, uses any information that he may gather as part of this assignment.
