Qualifications Details for NEHU Recruitment 2024
- First Class M.Sc/M.Tech/ in Food Engineering and Technology/ Food Technology/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering/ Agriculture Process Engineering/Bioprocess Engineering and its allied subjects
- Working experience on Food Testing Laboratory/National Level Laboratory, HPLC, DSC, Particle size analyzer, Spectrophotometric, FT-IR, and knowledge in FSSAI, BIS, ISO, etc., as well as statistical tools for science and technology will be preferred.

Pay Scale for NEHU Recruitment 2024
The project duration is twelve (12) months, with an initial offer for a period of three (3) months, which may be extended based on satisfactory performance and project requirements. Emoluments for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) are Rs. 31,000 plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) for the first two years and Rs. 35,000 plus HRA for the third year. This is applicable only for candidates who have qualified NET/GATE.
Selection Process for NEHU Recruitment 2024
- The selected candidates are requested to join as immediately and also should register Ph.D in Food Technology at department.
- Those in employment or doing Ph.D. must submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the concerned employer / Ph.D. Supervisor.
