The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is inviting applications for the position of Senior Consultant in three specialized areas: Blockchain Technology, GIS and Aerial Technology, and Big Data Analytics. Qualification for NeGD Recruitment 2024
Senior Consultant – Blockchain Technology
- Graduate degree in IT, Computer Science or related field. Diploma/certificate course in Blockchain is desirable.
- 10 years of experience in IT software development covering – Experience of designing, developing and maintaining at least ONE Blockchain solution through its Life Cycle
- 5+ years of experience with platform components of any public or permissioned Blockchain network
- 3+ years of experience in C++/Java/other programming language(s) used in Blockchain. Knowledge of public policies, government regulations, and their implications on relevant sectors is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of technology, including but not limited to Microsoft 365.
Senior Consultant – GIS, Drone & Aerial Technology
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Geographic Information Systems, or remote sensing etc or related field.
- Diploma/certificate course in GIS with drone technology is desirable.
- 15 years of experience in the field of technology, covering the following -
- 5+ years of experience in handling projects on GIS, Drones and Aerial Technology and their end-toend implementation.
- 3+ years of experience in development of technology use cases and solution design
- Experience of designing, developing and maintaining at least ONE tech solution utilising GIS, Drones and Aerial Technology through its Life Cycle.
Senior Consultant – Big Data Analytics
- Graduate degree in IT, Computer Science, Statistics etc or related field.
- Diploma/certificate course in Data Science/Big Data Analytics is desirable.
- 10 years of experience in the field of technology, covering the following - Executed At least ONE project in Big Data Analytics involving large ETL transformations involving large data.
- Knowledge of technologies/tools involving Big Data like Five Tran, Informatica, Tableau, Python etc.
- Knowledge of public policies, government regulations, and their implications on relevant sectors is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of technology, including but not limited to Microsoft 365.
Selection Process for NeGD Recruitment 2024
- Screening of applications will be based on qualifications, age, academic record and relevant experience. NeGD reserves the right to fix higher threshold of qualifications and experience for screening and limiting the number of candidates for interview.
- Only shortlisted candidates shall be invited for selection interviews. NeGD reserves the right not to select any of the candidates without assigning any reason thereof.

- Those candidates, who are already in regular or contractual employment under Central / State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies, are expected to apply through proper channel or attach a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned with the application OR produce No Objection Certificate at the time of interview
- National eGovernance Division reserves the right to fill all or some or none of the positions advertised without assigning any reason as it deems fit.
- The positions are purely temporary in nature and the appointees shall not derive any right or claim for permanent appointment with National eGovernance Division or on any vacancies existing or that shall be advertised for recruitment by National eGovernance Division in future.
