The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is inviting applications for 48 positions across various roles, including Head SeMT, Senior Consultant, and Consultant, with locations throughout India. Candidates must be no older than 55 years as of the closing date for applications, which is November 6, 2024. Those currently employed in government roles are encouraged to apply through proper channels, and positions are considered temporary with no entitlement to permanent employment.
Candidates for the Head SeMT position should possess a degree in engineering or IT-related fields and have over 15 years of experience in IT project management, including executing at least two projects in advanced technologies such as AI, Big Data, and Blockchain. The Senior Consultant role requires a similar educational background with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including one executed project in these technologies. For the Consultant position, candidates should have at least five years of experience in implementing IT projects, with two years in managing large IT or e-Governance projects.
The selection process involves screening applications based on qualifications, age, and experience, with only shortlisted candidates invited for interviews. Qualification for NeGD Recruitment 2024
- Head SeMT: B.E/B.Tech/ BCA/ B.Sc (IT)/ B.Sc (CS)
- 15 plus years of experience in IT project management and implementation roles. Executed atleast 2 projects in any of the technologies – Big Data Analytics/ Artificial Intelligence/ Machine & Deep Learning/ Blockchain Technology/ Internet of things/ Enterprise Architect/ GIS, Drone & Arial Technology/ Cloud Computing etc
- Senior Consultant: B.E/B.Tech/ BCA/ B.Sc (IT)/ B.Sc (CS)
- Minimum 10 plus years of experience in IT Projects, covering the following - Executed At least 1 project, in any of the technologies – Big Data Analytics/ Artificial Intelligence/ Machine & Deep Learning/ Blockchain Technology/ Internet of things/ Enterprise Architect/ GIS, Drone & Arial Technology/ Cloud Computing etc
- Consultant: B.E/B.Tech/ BCA/ B.Sc (IT)/ B.Sc (CS)
- 5 plus years of experience in implementing IT projects with atleast 2 years of experience in managing large IT/ e-Governance projects.
General Conditions for NeGD Recruitment 2024
- Those candidates, who are already in regular or contractual employment under Central / State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies, are expected to apply through proper channel or attach a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned with the application OR produce No Objection Certificate at the time of interview.
- National eGovernance Division reserves the right to fill all or some or none of the positions advertised without assigning any reason as it deems fit.
- The positions are purely temporary in nature and the appointees shall not derive any right or claim for permanent appointment with National eGovernance Division or on any vacancies existing or that shall be advertised for recruitment by National eGovernance Division in future.
Selection Process for NeGD Recruitment 2024
- Screening of applications will be based on qualifications, age, academic record and relevant experience. NeGD reserves the right to fix higher threshold of qualifications and experience for screening and limiting the number of candidates for interview
- Only shortlisted candidates shall be invited for selection interviews. NeGD reserves the right not to select any of the candidates without assigning any reason thereof
