The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has announced recruitment for the position of Chief Engineer (Civil) with 2 vacancies. The recruitment is on a deputation basis for an initial period of one year. The salary for the position ranges from Rs. 1,31,100 to Rs. 2,16,600. The qualification required is a degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent, along with 14 years of experience in Civil Engineering works.
Candidates must be officers from Central/State Governments, UTs, Universities, Recognized Research Institutions, Public Sector Undertakings, Semi-Government, Autonomous, or Statutory Organizations. They should hold analogous posts on a regular basis or have specific years of regular service in designated pay scales as mentioned in the notification. The maximum age limit for applicants is 56 years.

Position, Vacancy for NDMC Recruitment 2024
The New Delhi Municipal Council proposes to fill up 02 posts of Chief Engineer (Civil) on deputation basis initially for a period of 01 year. The pay scale, educational qualification, eligibility criteria etc. of the post as per the extant Recruitment Rules is as follows
Qualification for NDMC Recruitment 2024
Officers under the Central/States Govts./ UTs/ Universities/ Recognized Research Institutions/Public Sector Undertakings/ Semi-Govt./Autonomous or Statutory Organizations:-
a. (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis; or
ii) With 02 years regular service in posts in the Scale of Rs. 1,23,100-2,15,900 level 13 in 7th CPC pay matrix or equivalent; or
(iii) With 07 years regular service in posts in the scale of Rs. 78,800-2,09,200 level 12 in 7th CPC pay matrix; and.
b. Possessing a degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent with 14 years experience in Civil Engineering works.
Pay Scale for NDMC Recruitment 2024
Filling up 02 posts of Chief Engineer (Civil) on deputation basis initially for a period of 01 year in the pay scale of Rs. 1,31,100-2,16,600 level 13A in revised 7th CPC pay matrix. Pay Scale Rs. 1,31,100-2, 16,600 level 13A in revised 7th CPC pay matrix.
Age Limit for NDMC Recruitment 2024
The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short term contract) shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of the application

- Latest vigilance/cadre clearance
- Directed to refer to the subject cited above and to say that in continuation of the vacancy circular issued by this office vide No. SO(CE-Il)/201/SAG-I dated 20.02.2024 to fill up 02 posts of Chief Engineer (Civil) in Rs. 1,31,100-2,16,600 level 13A in revised pay matrix on deputation basis from eligible and willing officers belonging to Central/State Government, the last date of receipt of applications complete in all respect has been extended up to 20.05.2024.
