The Walk-in-interview for filling up of the 05 (Five) posts of Consultant Entomologist to be filled purely on contract basis for the period of one year or till the posts are filled up on regular basis, whichever is earlier, will be held at NCVBDC, 22-Sham Nath Marg (Near Civil Line Metro Station), Delhi-110 054, as under:-

Qualification for NCVBDC Recruitment 2024
- Doctorate degree in Entomology of recognized University or equivalent. 12 years experience in teaching and/or research in the field of Medical Entomology
- Master degree in Zoology with Entomology of a recognized University or equivalent. Seven years experience in teaching and/or research and/or control in the field of Medical Entomology or Malariology or Filariology.
- M.Sc. degree in Zoology with Entomology of recognized University or equivalent.
- Three years experience in teaching and/or research and/or control in the field of Medical Entomology or Malariology or Filariology (Qualification relaxable at Union Public Service Commission's dicreation in case of candidates otherwise well qualified).
Pay Scale for NCVBDC Recruitment 2024
- Consultant Entomologist (S-3) - Rs.78800/-pm (each)
- Consultant Entomologist (S-2) - Rs.67700/-pm (each)
- Consultant Entomologist (S-1) - Rs.56100/-pm
Age Limit for NCVBDC Recruitment 2024
- Consultant Entomologist (S-3) - Should not be above 45 years and ready to travel extensively. If retired from Government of India the age may be below 62 vears.
- Consultant Entomologist (S-2) - Should not be above 40 years and ready to travel extensively. If retired from Government of India the age may be below 62 years.
- Consultant Entomologist (S-1) - Should not be above 35 years and ready to travel extensively. If retired from Government of India the age may be below 62 years.
Walkin Details for NCVBDC Recruitment 2024
- Date of Walk-in- interview: 12.11.2024. If any declaration given or information furnished by him/her proves to be false or if he/she is found to have willfully suppressed any material information, he /she will be liable for removal from service and also such other action as the Government may deem necessary.
- Eligible candidates fulfilling the educational qualification, experience etc. as mentioned above may appear for the walk-in-interview on 12.11.2024 at National Center for Vector Borne Diseases Control, 22-Sham Nath Marg, Delhi- 110054 (Near Civil Line Metro Station).
- The eligible candidates may register their names for interview between 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM along with a resume, original certificates, one passport size photograph and their attested copies. Registration will be closed at 11.00 AM sharp. Candidate reporting after 11.00 AM will not be entertained.
- Candidates reporting without original document will also not be entertained. The candidate must ensure their eligibility as per above Terms of Reference, before appearina for Walk-in-interview.
