Age Limit for NCL Recruitment 2024
- Upper Age Limit in years (As on 01/03/2024) including relaxations: 30 to 35 Years
- Crucial date for claim of SC/ ST/ OBC (NCL)/ EWS status or any other benefit viz. fee concession, etc., were not specified otherwise, will be the first of the month in which the Notification is issued (i.e. 01/03/2024).
- Reservation and relaxations for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/ EWS / PwBD (degree of disability 40% & above) & Ex-servicemen candidates will be as per Government of India guidelines
- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen Candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. However, they have to pay a non- refundable amount towards Processing Fee.

- The application fee mentioned above does not include service charges or any other charges that bank may levy.
- The amount paid towards application fee / processing fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Selection Procedure for NCL Recruitment 2024
- Selection will be based on Written Test for 100 marks.
- The question paper for Written test will have 100 Multiple choice Objective Type questions carrying equal 01 mark each, with No negative marks for wrong answer.
- Candidates for the post of Junior Engineer (F1-S grade) shall be evaluated in Written Test for 100 marks
- Candidates for the post of Clerical Assistant (F2-W grade) and Industrial Worker(F2-W grade) shall be evaluated in Written Test for 100 marks
- Duration of Written Test will be 120 minutes. The Question Paper will be in English Language only.
- Minimum qualifying marks in Written Test will be 50% in respect of UR & EWS candidates and 40% in respect of SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates, against the reserved vacancies.
- Project Affected Persons (PAPs of NLCIL Project) will be allowed 20 bonus marks (limited to one beneficiary per award) in the overall marking system and minimum qualifying marks of 50% or 40% as the case may be, will be arrived after adding bonus marks
- Final selection will be in the order of merit based on the overall total score of marks obtained in written test by the candidates (plus Bonus marks awarded in case of PAP candidates), ensuring due reservation for SC / ST / OBC-NCL / EWS categories

- Candidates fulfilling all the eligibility criteria may login and apply / register online in the portal available in NLCIL website.
- Candidates should apply only through online mode in NLC India Limited website www.nlcindia.in.
- Before registering / applying online, the candidates should ensure that they have mobile number and valid & active personal email ID and keep them active for the entire duration of selection as NLCIL will send all selection related communications only through SMS / email till the selection process is completed
- Candidates have to upload required scanned copies of documents / certificates in prescribed format to establish their eligibility, failing which the application is liable for rejection.
- Candidates applying for more than one post should apply and submit separate Registration-cum-Application Form & receipt for fee along with the requisite enclosures for each post(s).
- Candidates should submit single application only for any post. In case of multiple applications / registrations for any post, the last registered application shall only be considered
- Candidates should ensure that they have uploaded the required documents before submitting application, for their benefit, after uploading a document, “View Document” option will be provided in the on-line portal to check.
