The NCERT is inviting applications for four Senior Research Associate positions based in New Delhi, with a salary of Rs. 35,000/- per month for NET/Ph.D. holders. Candidates must be under 45 years of age, with age relaxation as per Government of India norms.
The positions require a Master's degree in relevant disciplines such as Earth Science, Geology, Environmental Science, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bio-Science, Chemistry, or Physics, with a minimum of 55% marks for general candidates and relaxation for reserved categories. Applicants should also have NET qualifications and two years of relevant experience. Qualifications Details for NCERT Recruitment 2024
- Master's degree in Earth science/ Geology/ Environmental Science/ Physics or any related discipline with minimum 55% Marks for General and relaxation as per Gol norms.
- NET in related discipline(s) or equivalent qualification(s).
- Two years' Research/teaching/content development or any other academic experience in Science or relevant area.
- Master's degree in Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Bio-technology/ Bio- Science or any related discipline with minimum 55% Marks or equivalent in General category (50% marks or equivalent in the case of SC/ST/PH).
- Master's degree in Chemistry or any related discipline with minimum 55% Marks for General and relaxation as per Gol norms.
- Master's degree in Physics or any related discipline with minimum 55% Marks for General and relaxation as per Gol norms.
Age Limit for NCERT Recruitment 2024
The NCERT is inviting applications for the position of Senior Research Associates, with a total of four posts available. The tenure for these positions extends up to March 31, 2025. Applicants must be below 45 years of age, with age relaxation provided as per Government of India norms.

- The interested candidates who fulfil the required eligibility conditions as mentioned above, may attend the Walk-in-interview on the specified date and time along with their bio-data (in the given format only), original certificates/marksheets/testimonials/experience certificate(s), etc.
- One set of self-attested copies of certificate/testimonials and one passport size photograph may also be submitted. Person whose minimum eligibility degree is awaited, please do not apply. Candidates attending interview will not be paid any TA/DA by the NCERT.
- Time of Interview: 11:00 a.m. Onwards. The registration of eligible candidates will be done from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. only and NO candidate will be entertained after 11.00 a.m.
