The National Council of Educational Research & Training (NCERT) is conducting a walk-in interview for the recruitment of two positions: Junior Project Fellow and Computer Programmer. The roles are based in New Delhi, offering a salary range of ₹35,000 to ₹50,000. Candidates for the Computer Programmer position should have a postgraduate degree in Computer Applications or related fields, along with two years of relevant experience. For the Junior Project Fellow role, applicants must possess a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject and demonstrate proficiency in basic computer skills and MS Office.
The walk-in interview is scheduled for 7th October 2024, with registration from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the NCERT's Planning & Monitoring Division. Candidates must bring original certificates, a completed application form, and supporting documents. The engagement is temporary, lasting until 31st March 2025, and does not guarantee regular employment with NCERT. Those currently employed must provide a "No Objection Certificate" from their employer.

Qualification for NCERT Recruitment 2024
- Computer Programmer: PG in Computer Application/ Computer Science/ Computer Technology/Master of Technolory (M.Tech.) (With specialization in Computer Application) of a recognized University or equivalent with minimum 55%.
- Two years experience of electronic data processing/computer programming
- Junior Project Fellow: PG in relevant subject with minimum 55% marks for general and 50% in case of SC,ST,PH. Basic Knowledge of Computer, Proficiency in MS Office, Data processing, preparing reports etc. Good communication skills
Note for NCERT Recruitment 2024
- The candidate should bring their original certificates and other supporting documents along with bio-data. A copy of the same is to be provided at the time of interview.
- A filled in Application in the Format attached is to be submitted along with copy of the certificates
- The engagement under the project is on purely temporary and contractual basis. The tenure of the engagement of will be up to 31st March 2025 from the date of joining and it will not provide any claim for regular employment in NCERT
- The candidate already in job should forward their application through their employer or bring "No Objection Certificate" at the time of interview.
- No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview or joining the project.
- The selected candidate will have to join immediately.
Walkin Date for NCERT Recruitment 2024
- Walk-in Interview will be held on 7th October 2024 (Monday) in Planning & Monitoring Division (PMD), 5th Floor, Zakir Hussain Building, NCERT, New Delhi.
- Registration: will be from 9.00 am to 10.30 am in Room No. 508, PMD, Zakir Hussain Block, NCERT, New Delhi.
- No candidates shall be allowed to appear for the Interview after the close of the Registration. Interview will commence from 11:00am onwards
