The Department of Teacher Education at NCERT is seeking applications for two Junior Project Fellow positions on a temporary and contractual basis for the projects "Publication of Journal of Indian Education (JIE)" and "Development and Publication of On-Line Journal: Voices of Teachers and Teacher Educators (VTTE)" for the year 2024-25.
Candidates should possess a Master's degree in Humanities, Education, English, Science, or Social Science with a minimum of 55% marks, with desirable qualifications including B.Ed./ B.EI.Ed., Ph.D./ M. Phil in Education, proficiency in computer usage, and English language skills. The age limit is 40 years, with relaxations for specific categories. The fellowship is until March 31, 2025, with a monthly stipend of Rs. 31,000/- for NET qualified and Rs. 29,000/- for non-NET qualified candidates.

Qualifications Details for NCERT Recruitment 2024

Age Limit for NCERT Recruitment 2024
NCERT is hiring for the position of Junior Project Fellow with one vacancy available. Applicants should be below 40 years of age, with a five-year relaxation for SC/ST/PwD and female candidates. The tenure for the position extends until March 31st, 2025.
Pay Scale for NCERT Recruitment 2024
The Department of Teacher Education at NCERT is inviting applications for the post of Junior Project Fellow (JPF), with two positions available on a purely temporary and contractual basis for programs coordinated by the department. The salary for the position ranges from Rs. 29,000 to Rs. 31,000 per month, with a fellowship of Rs. 31,000 per month for NET qualified candidates and Rs. 29,000 per month for non-NET qualified candidates.
Selection Process for NCERT Recruitment 2024
- Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for written test and interview. Shortlisted candidates must bring the print out of the application in the prescribed format along with self-attested photocopies of testimonials/certificates and one photograph at the time of interview. Candidates are also required to bring the original certificates/testimonials for verification at the time of interview.
- The selected candidate will be required to join immediately.

- Candidates must bring their Resume/Bio-data (with Photo) along with original certificates, self- attested photocopies of each certificate and other related documents at the time of interview. Fellowship is purely on temporary basis and will not confer on him/her any claim for regular employment in NCERT.
- The candidates working with other organizations should forward the applications through their employer or bring a 'No Objection Certificate' at the time of interview. The candidate may ensure that she/she fulfills the eligibility conditions as mentioned above. No TA/DA will be paid by NCERT for attending the interview.
