The National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd (NAFED) has released a notification for the recruitment of 2 Joint Managing Directors in New Delhi on a deputation basis. The positions include Joint Managing Director (Extension and Business) and Joint Managing Director (Cooperation and IT) at Level 13/Level-13A of the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC.
Eligible candidates must be officers from the All India Services or any Organized Services of the Government of India participating under the Central Staffing Scheme, currently working at the Deputy Secretary/Director level (Level-12/Level-13) or eligible for appointment at that level.
The period of deputation for these posts is as per the deputation terms under the Central Staffing Scheme. Position, Vacancy for NAFED Recruitment 2024
Filling up of two newly created posts of (i) Joint Managing Director(Extension and Business); and (ii) Joint Managing Director(Cooperation and IT) in National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd.(NAFED), New Delhi on deputation basis at Level 13/Level-13A of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC-reg.
Qualification for NAFED Recruitment 2024
- Officers from the All India Services or any Organized Services of the Government of India participatina under Central Staffing Scheme, who are either working at Deputy Secretary/ Director level (Level-12/Level-13) in the GOI under Central Staffing Scheme;
- or eligible to be appointed at Deputy Secretary/ Director level (Level-12/Level-13 of pay matrix) under Central Staffing Scheme, shall be considered eligible for the above posts.
- The period of deputation for the above posts is as per deputation terms under Central Staffing Scheme.
Pay Scale for NAFED Recruitment 2024
Filling up of the posts of (i) Joint Managing Director(Extension and Business); and (ii) Joint Managing Director(Cooperation and IT) in National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd.(NAFED), New Delhi on deputation basis at Level 13/Level-13A of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC. These are non-CSS posts. The applications were invited for the posts vide circular of even number dated 09.01.2024, 14.02.2024, 12.03.2024 and 16.04.2024 (copies enclosed).

- The above posts may be circulated amongst the eligible officers and the names of willing and eligible officers who can be spared by the State Governments/ Ministries/ Departments may be forwarded to this Department along with cadre clearance, vigilance clearance, detailed bio-data in the enclosed proforma and APAR dossiers for the last five years.
- For officers working in the cadre, it may also be ensured that the 'Cooling off, after a previous stint on deputation, if any, is completed and the officer is eligible for appointment on Central Deputation as per extant instructions.
- It has been decided to extend the last date for submission of application till 10.06.2024. This may be brought to the notice of all concerned and the application(s) of the eligible candidate(s) may please be forwarded accordingly.
