NAARM (National Academy of Agricultural Research Management) is conducting a recruitment process for the positions of Young Professional and Project Associate, with two vacancies available. Interested candidates for the Young Professional role should possess a 4-year professional degree in Agriculture and an MBA/PG Diploma in Management or a relevant postgraduate degree. Applicants for the Project Associate position are required to have a Master’s Degree in fields such as Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or Biotechnology, among others.
The Young Professional position offers a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 42,000, whereas the Project Associate salary is Rs. 31,000 plus 24% HRA for candidates who qualify through national eligibility tests like CSIR-UGC NET or GATE, or Rs. 25,000 plus 24% HRA for others. The age limit for Young Professionals is 21 to 45 years, and for Project Associates, it is up to 35 years for men and 40 years for women, with age relaxations applicable as per government norms.
These positions are temporary and contractual, based on project requirements or until the scheme's termination. The walk-in interview is scheduled for May 21, 2024. Candidates are advised to arrive early for document verification and must bring a hard copy of the application form, recent photograph, original documents, and experience certificates if any. Qualifications For NAARM Recruitment 2024
Young Professional :
- 4 years Professional degree, preferably in Agriculture along with MBA / PG Diploma in Management or Post Graduate degree in Agricultural Economics / Agribusiness Management / Agriculture & Rural Management / Agricultural Extension or Extension Education / Agricultural Statistics / Livestock Economics or Dairy Economics or Animal Husbandry Economics / Veterinary Extension or Dairy Extension / Animal Husbandry Extension
Project Associate :
- Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics / Computer Application / Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence / Biotechnology / Genetics & Plant Breeding / Microbiology / Plant Pathology / Biochemistry
Salary Details for NAARM Recruitment 2024
- Young Professional : Rs. 42,000/- (Fixed) per month
- Project Associate : Rs 31,000 + 24% HRA (Fixed) to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET or GATE or (b) A selection process through national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
- Rs 25,000 + 24% HRA (Fixed) for others who do not fall under (i) above
Age Limit for NAARM Recruitment 2024
- Young Professional : The minimum age under Young Professional category will be 21 years and maximum 45 years as on date of walk-in-Interview with relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH/etc as per GOI/ICAR norms.
- Project Associate : Upper age limit is 35 years (men) and 40 years (women) as on date of walk-in-interview. Age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH/etc as per GOI/ICAR norms.
Other Terms & Conditions for NAARM Recruitment 2024
- The engagement will not constitute a regular job or appointment of any nature in the ICAR-NAARM.
- Concealing of facts and canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination of candidature.
- Candidate should be willing to complete the allotted work in time. Work may be allotted based on the requirement of the Unit.
- The working hours will be same as regular employees of ICAR. No extra benefits will be allowed for working beyond office hours.
- The Young Professional / Project Associate-I shall have to comply with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013.
Walk-In Interview Details For NAARM Recruitment 2024
- Walk-In Interview : May 21, 2024
- All eligible candidates are advised to be present at least one hour before scheduled time on the date of Interview for completing the certificates verification formality.
- The positions are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis till the termination of the scheme or as per the need, whichever is earlier. Duration of engagement can be curtailed/extended as per need and subject to performance of the candidate.
- Already employed candidate should provide NOC from their present employer, failing which, they will not be allowed to attend Walk-in-interview.
- The candidate should bring hard copy of duly filled in application form, a latest passport-size Photograph and Original documents along with experience certificate(s) if any, at the time of interview.
- Non-production of any of original certificates for verification at the time of Interview is liable to rejection of candidature. Any candidate who has deposited original certificates with the College / University / Employer should produce Custodian Certificate.
- The appointment of selected candidate will be subject to the condition that he/she is declared medically fit for service by the prescribed Medical Authority.
- No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
- If the turnover for walk-in-interview is more, the Academy may consider to extend the date of interview for the next day and also to have a written screening test.
- Candidates are required to make the food arrangements on their own.
- The Candidates must follow the COVID-19 guidelines prescribed / issued by MHA / MH&FW, Govt.of India and local authorities at the time of walk-in-interview :
- Director, ICAR-NAARM reserves the right to increase / decrease the number of vacancies as per requirement.
- The decision of the Director, ICAR-NAARM / Principal Investigator of the project will be final and binding in all aspects
