Mumbai Port Authority has announced recruitment for the position of Deputy Chief Engineer, with 7 vacancies available. The salary for this role ranges from Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 2,20,000.
Candidates must possess a degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institution, along with twelve years of experience in executive cadre in planning, construction, design, maintenance, preferably of port and marine structures in an industrial, commercial, or government undertaking. Eligible candidates can apply online through the Online Application Portal (OAP) of the Ministry of Shipping from April 11, 2024, to May 10, 2024.
Applications submitted through other means will not be accepted. Administrative ports are required to forward applications along with necessary documents by May 27, 2024. These documents include attested photocopies of educational qualifications, work experience, and a no objection certificate from the respective port, among others.
