Mumbai Port Authority Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Deputy Chief Engineer Vacancies, Check Eligibility at mumbaiport.gov.in
The Mumbai Port Authority is seeking to fill the position of Deputy Chief Engineer (Civil) through absorption from officers of Major Port Authorities. Eligible candidates must apply online through the Ministry of Shipping's portal within the specified dates and submit hard copies of their application forms to their administrative ports.
The application package should include certified copies of Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) for the last five years, educational and work experience certificates, a no-objection certificate from the current port, an undertaking not to withdraw candidature if selected, administrative clearance, a vigilance report, photographs, and details of any disciplinary actions in the past ten years.
Applications must be forwarded by the administrative ports by the deadline, and advance applications will not be considered unless received through the proper channel within 15 days of the deadline. The eligibility criteria are based on the next date of superannuation or retirement of the incumbent.

Qualifications Details for Mumbai Port Authority Recruitment 2024
- One post of Deputy Chief Engineer (Civil) in Mumbai Port Authority will fall vacant w.e.f. 1.7.2024. This post is to be filled by absorption through composite method from officers of Major Ports, fulfilling the eligibility criteria as mentioned The selection is by merit for which overall grading in the APARs should not be below "Very Good".
- The candidate has to submit the hard-copy of the application form uploaded in OAP to his administrative Port for onward forwarding to MbPA.
Pay Scale for Mumbai Port Authority Recruitment 2024
The Mumbai Port Authority is seeking to fill the position of Deputy Chief Engineer (Civil) within the pay scale of Rs. 80,000-220,000 through absorption via the composite method.
Selection Process for Mumbai Port Authority Recruitment 2024
The selection is by merit for which overall grading in the APARs should not be below "Very Good".

- Applications are invited from eligible and willing officers of all the Major Port Authorities possessing the prescribed qualifications and experience as mentioned. The application shall be submitted through 'Online Application Portal (OAP)' of the Ministry of Shipping (website http://onlinevacancy.shipmin.nic.in) from 15.5.2024 to 14.6.2024. No application submitted other than OAP will be accepted.
- The administrative Ports are required to forward the applications of the candidates along with the following documents superscribing "Application for the post of Deputy Chief Engineer (Civil) in Mumbai Port Authority" on or before 1.7.2024.
- The candidate has to submit the hard-copy of the application form uploaded in OAP to his administrative Port for onward forwarding to MbPA.
