Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd. (MRVC), a public sector undertaking of the Government of India under the Ministry of Railways, is seeking dynamic candidates for contractual positions of Additional General Manager (Civil) or Joint General Manager (Civil) for executing projects under the Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP).
The positions require a minimum age of 50 years and a graduate degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with preference given to candidates with post-graduation in relevant fields. The fixed gross emoluments range from Rs. 1,83,450 to Rs. 2,03,744 per month, including basic pay, allowances, and benefits such as medical coverage and leave entitlements.

Qualifications Details for MRVC Recruitment 2024
- Graduate in Civil Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or equivalent from recognized (AICTE) University.
- Candidates having Post Graduation in relevant field of Engineering/Construction Management will have added advantage.
Age Limit for MRVC Recruitment 2024
MRVC is seeking dynamic and results-oriented individuals to fill two positions of Additional General Manager and Joint General Manager on a contractual basis. Candidates should not exceed 50 years of age. The positions offer fixed gross emoluments and entail responsibilities within the company's framework.
Pay Scale for MRVC Recruitment 2024
- If appointed as AGM(Civil) : Rs.2,03,744 /- per month
- If appointed as JGM(Civil) : Rs.1,83,450/- per months
- The Fixed Gross emoluments consist the following : Basic + DA + House Rent Allowance + mobile phone usage + Provident Fund (employer's share) etc. There will be annual hike in salary with satisfactory performance certified by controlling HOD.
Selection Process for MRVC Recruitment 2024
- Shortlisted candidates would be required to make a brief presentation on the jobs handled by them and their experience in the areas detailed in the job description of the post.
- After preliminary screening of the applications received from candidates by mail, the eligible candidate(s) will only be called for document verification and interaction. In case of more number of eligible applications received, then candidates equal to 05 times the notified vacancies will only be called for document verification and interaction based on their experience.
- The candidate will be interviewed by a nominated Committee and the selection will be finalized on merit based on the performance in the interview, qualification and post qualification experience gained by the Candidate. The decision of the Nominated Committee of MRVC shall be final and binding.
- The other broad terms of contract are given below for information of the candidate which are subject to changes at the time of actually entering into the contract, at the discretion of MRVC, which may please be noted. The period of contract will be initially for a period of two years, extendable upto 3 years on satisfactory performance and mutual consent.
