Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) has announced a recruitment notification for the position of Junior Research Fellow/Project Fellow, with one vacancy available. The selected candidate will work under the sponsored research project titled “Swift Heavy Ion Assisted Control of Resistive Switching in Epitaxial ZrO2 Thin Films for Emerging Memories," funded by Inter-University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi.
Candidates must possess an M.Sc. degree in Physics with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent, with an interest in research in Condensed Matter Physics. Desirable qualifications include being CSIR-UGC NET/GATE/M.Phil. qualified, and experience in Thin film deposition techniques will be an added advantage.
The selection process will involve an interview conducted in hybrid mode (both online and offline). Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the interview date through email. The last date to apply online is 10th May 2024. Position, Vacancy for MNNIT Recruitment 2024
Applications are invited from interested Indian nationals for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project-Fellow (on contract) under Inter-University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi, sponsored research project entitled “Swift Heavy Ion Assisted Control of Resistive Switching in Epitaxial ZrO2 Thin Films for Emerging Memories".

Qualification for MNNIT Recruitment 2024

Pay Scale for MNNIT Recruitment 2024
1. Fellowship for JRF (NET/GATE Qualified students): 25,000 per month for two years and 28,000 per month for third & final year only.
2. Fellowship for Project-Fellow (Non-NET/GATE candidates): 14,000 per month for two years and 16,000 per month for third & final year only.
3. Contingency as per IUAC/UGC norms

Selection Procedure for MNNIT Recruitment 2024
- The candidate will be selected through an interview process. The mode of the interview will be Online and Offline i.e., in Hybrid mode.
- The shortlisted candidates will be informed about the Interview date through email only.
- Mere possessing the prescribed qualification does not ensure that the candidate would be called for Interview.
- The Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit and need of the project.
