Applications are invited from Indian nationals possessing the domicile of state of Uttar Pradesh for the position of Senior Research Assistant (on contract) in research project entitled "Structural Health Monitoring of Buildings Using Electro-Mechanical Impedance Technique" at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, Prayagraj-211004 funded by Council of Science and Technology, Uttar Pradesh.

Qualification for MNNIT Recruitment 2024
- Appointment will be made on contract basis for a period of one year. Further, the contract may be extended depending on the performance evaluation on yearly basis till the end of project.
- M.E./M.Tech. (Civil Engineering) with specialization in Structural Engineering and First Class. Indian Citizens who are resident of state of Utar Pradesh are only eligible to apply.
- Candidate should have go0d oral and written communication skills, Candidate should be wiling to work efficiently in team environment, self motivated, and work under a variety of challenging research conditions.
Pay Scale for MNNIT Recruitment 2024
22,000.00 per month (Consolidated) till end of the project. Candidate selected for the Senior Research Assistant in the project may register for Ph.D. program of the Institute if he/she meets the eligibility Condition. Facility of yearly leave, carryover leave, medical benefits etc. may be available as per applicable rules for the project staff.

Selection Procedure for MNNIT Recruitment 2024
- Mere possessing the prescribed qualification does not ensure that the candidate would be called for Interview. The Candidates will be shortisted on the basis of merit and need of the project.
- Shortlisted Candidates will be informed by E-mail about the interview dates. So, they must provide their valid Email IDs in their applications.
- Shortlisted candidates have to present themselves for the interview on the interview date with updated CV and original and attested photocopies of mark sheets/ certificates in support of their academic qualifications.

- The duly completed application on prescribed format along with copies of Supporting documents must reach to: Office of Dean (Research and Consultancy), Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, Prayagraj-211004 on or before 10.07.2024.
- The envelope should be superscripted as "Senior Research Assistant (on contracty" in the Research Project "Structural Health Monitoring of Buildings Using Electro-Mechanical Impedance Technique" at MNNIT Alahabad.
- A soft copy of the application form compressed with al qualifications documents should also be sent to Dr. Rama Shanker, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, and Principal Investigator through email [email protected] with copy to Dr. Varun Singh (Co-Principal Investigator) at [email protected].
- The position is purely temporary, co terminus with the project and will be governed by the Project Guidelines of Councl of Science & Technology, Uttar Pradesh and rules & regulations of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
