Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) on a contract basis for the research project titled "Prototype design and performance analysis of an energy-efficient domestic biogas cook-stove burner," funded by SERB-DST under the Core Research Grant Scheme (CRG/2023/002506) for a duration of three years.
Interested candidates must submit the duly completed application form along with supporting documents to the Research & Consultancy Cell, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, Prayagraj-211004, by May 5th, 2024.
The envelope should be marked with "Application for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) (on contract) in the Research Project 'Prototype design and performance analysis of an energy-efficient domestic biogas cook-stove burner'." Qualifications Details for MNNIT Allahabad Recruitment 2024
- M.Tech/M.E. in Thermal/Thermo-Fluid/Power/Energy Engineering and allied/relevant branches aligning with the nature of the project or B.Tech./B.E. in Mechanical /Power/Energy Engineering and allied/relevant branches aligning with the nature of the project.
- With two years experience.
- GATE Qualified.
Age Limit for MNNIT Allahabad Recruitment 2024
MNNIT Allahabad invites applications from Indian nationals for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF). Only one position is available. Candidates currently employed in any organization, whether private or government, must submit a "No Objection Certificate" from their employer at the time of the interview. The age limit for the position is as per SERB Guidelines.
Pay Scale for MNNIT Allahabad Recruitment 2024
The selected candidate for the Senior Research Fellow (SRF) position will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 42,000/- in accordance with Funding Agency Norms, along with HRA. Additionally, candidates meeting eligibility conditions may enroll in the Ph.D. program of the Institute. The project staff may be entitled to benefits such as yearly leave, carryover leave, and medical benefits as per applicable rules.
Tenure for MNNIT Allahabad Recruitment 2024
Appointment will be made on contract basis for a period of one year initially, which may be extended subjected to release of funding from the funding agency. Further, the contract may be extended depending on the performance evaluation on yearly basis till the end of proiect.
Selection Process for MNNIT Allahabad Recruitment 2024
- Mere possessing the prescribed qualification does not ensure that the candidate would be called for Interview. The Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit and need of the project.
- Shortlisted Candidates will be informed by e-mail about the interview dates. So, they must provide their valid Email IDs in their applications.
- Shortlisted candidates have to present themselves for the interview on the interview date with updated CV and original and attested photocopies of mark sheets/ certificates in support of their academic qualifications.
