Mizoram PSC Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Counsellor, Vocational Guidance Officer, More Vacancies, Check Eligibility at mpsc.mizoram.gov.in

The Mizoram Public Service Commission (Mizoram PSC) is recruiting for three posts: Counsellor, Vocational Guidance Officer, and Lecturer (VSE). For the Counsellor position, candidates need a 2nd Class Master's Degree in Education or M.Ed, along with a Diploma in Educational & Vocational Guidance and training experience in counselling. For the Lecturer (VSE) and Vocational Guidance Officer roles, applicants should hold a 2nd Class Master's Degree in the relevant subject with at least three years of teaching experience, or a First Class Master’s Degree or research degree.

Candidates must also meet the Mizo Language Proficiency requirements unless they have studied Mizo in Class X or above in Mizoram, or opted for Mizo as an MIL outside Mizoram. Applications must be submitted online by the stated deadline, with payment confirmation to ensure submission.

Counsellor:

• 2nd Class Master Degree (Edn.) / M.Ed with Diploma in Educational & Vocational Guidance (DEVG).
• Training experience in Counselling & Guidance Services.

Lecturer (VSE), Vocational Guidance Officer:

• 2nd class Master’s Degree in the subject with at least 2nd Class BT/B.Ed with not less than 3 yrs. Experience of teaching in a recognised institution.
• First class Master’s Degree or research degree.

Age Limit for Mizoram PSC Recruitment 2024

• A candidate must not be less than 21 years and not more than 35 years of age on the last date of application.
• For age proof, HSLC/HSSLC Certificates which clearly shows the candidate’s date of birth shall be accepted.
• In the absence of date of birth in such certificates, the relevant documents issued by the competent authority may be accepted.

Common Eligibility Conditions for Mizoram PSC Recruitment 2024

• A candidate must achieve a minimum score in the qualifying test of Mizo Language Proficiency as prescribed by the Government from time to time.
• However, a candidate who studied Mizo subject in Class-X standard HSLC) or above within Mizoram or who opted for Mizo subject as MIL outside Mizoram is exempted from taking the qualifying test paper.
