The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting intends to fill the positions of Regional Officers (General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted) at the Central Board of Film Certification's Regional Offices in Cuttack and Kolkata on a deputation basis. The selected officers will be placed in Pay Matrix Level 12 (Rs. 78800-209200) under the Ministry's purview, with their pay, tenure, and conditions governed by the Department of Personnel & Training’s guidelines.
The appointment for the Kolkata office is contingent upon the resolution of ongoing disciplinary proceedings against a potential candidate. Qualifications Details for Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Recruitment 2024
- Degree of a recognized university or equivalent
- Sound knowledge of Hindi and one more of the following Indian languages against each Regional Officer: Regional Officer, CBFC, Cuttack - Odiya Regional Officer, CBFC, Kolkata - Bengali
- Sound knowledge of Indian history and culture; and
- 10 years' administrative or managerial experience in a responsible capacity. (Period of deputation - ordinarily not exceeding 4 years)
