Essential Criteria for Ministry Of External Affairs Recruitment 2024
- The Applicant should be an Indian national.
- Applicant should be a retired govt. servant at the level of Section Officer (preferably MEA).
- Applicant must be a graduate in any discipline.
- Officer should have experience in finance, bill/invoice settlement, and be well conversant with Government of India’s Financial Rules such as General Financial Rules (GFR), Delegation of Financial Power Rules (DFPR) and Government Accounting Rules (GAR).
- Applicant should be in good health condition.
- Applicant should be computer savvy.

Pay Scale for Ministry Of External Affairs Recruitment 2024
- The remuneration package will be as per the prevailing Government of India norms.
- The engagement will be strictly contractual and will not confer any other benefits to the selected candidates.
- The consultant shall not be entitled to any benefit like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion etc. or any other benefits available to the regular employees of the Ministry.
- No HRA shall be admissible.
