The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in New Delhi is seeking applications for the position of Consultant in the AMS Division. The initial contract is for one year, extendable based on performance and mutual agreement.
The consultant will monitor Indo-US relations, provide data for policy formulation, analyze information from various sources, attend relevant events, and handle inter-agency coordination. Applicants must be Indian nationals under 30 years old, graduates or above, and in good health.
The remuneration is up to Rs. 10 lakh per annum, with no additional benefits. The work is full-time with normal office hours and may require overtime. Paid leave is allowed, and travel expenses will be covered if required.

Essential Criteria for Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2024
- The Applicant should be an Indian national.
- Applicant should be Graduate or above.
- Applicant should less than 30 years as on last date of submission of application and he/she should be in good health.
Pay Scale for Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2024
- The remuneration package will be commensurate with the experience and profile of the selected candidate , subject to a maximum of Rs. 10 lakh per annum and deduction of applicable taxes. The amount of consultancy fee so fixed shall remain unchanged during the term of engagement
- The consultant shall not be entitled to any benefit like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion etc. or any other benefits available to the regular employees of the Ministry

- The final selection will be based on their performance at the interview.
- The decision of the Government regarding selection of candidate will be final.
