The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has announced the recruitment for the position of Deputy Development Commissioner, with one vacancy available. This position is based in Kerala, and the last date for applications is September 22, 2024.
Eligible candidates should be officers from central government services, including All India Services and organized Group 'A' services, or state government officers, with analogous posts on a regular basis or with 5 years of service in a pay level-10 position in the 7th CPC Pay matrix. Qualifications Details for Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2024
officers from central government services including All India services (Als) and organized Group 'A' Services, State Government Officers/ Officers of Union Territories/ PSUs/Autonomous bodies/ Statutory bodies.
- Holding analogous posts on a regular basis; or
- with 5 years of service in the post having Pay Level-10 of pay in the 7th CpC Pay matrix.
Possessing experience in industrial development, foreign trade, estate development and administration

- Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organization Department of the Central Government shall not exceed (03) three years.
- The maximum age limit for appointment by transfer on deputation shall be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of the application.

The appointment will be on transfer on a deputation basis. The period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed 03 years in the case of DDC. The terms and conditions of the deputation will be governed as per the instructions issued by the Department _of -Personnel & training vide o.M. No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (pay-ll) dated 17"' June 2010, as amended from time to time.
