MHA Recruitment 2024 - Latest Deputy Inspector General, Deputy Commandant and more Vacancies on 15 April 2024
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has announced vacancies for various positions including Deputy Inspector General, Second-In-Command, Dy. Commandant, Technical Officer, Inspector, and Head Constable. A total of 25 vacancies are available with differing upper age limits for each position.

Qualification for MHA Recruitment 2024
Deputy Inspector General :
- Education Qualification and Experience: As per Recruitment Rules of CAPFS and relevant experience in the domain of Disaster Management may be preferred.
- Holding analogous post on regular basis in the CAPFS OR Minimum 3) years service in the rank of Commandant (Level-13).
- Medical category SHAPE-T.
- Free from Disciplinary/ Vigilance angle.
- With minimum two years of service in the rank.
- APAR grading for the last five years should be Very Good.
- Clean records of service for the last five years and should have fulfilled the mandatory cooling-off period of three years after every period of previous deputation.
- The initial period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed seven years.
Second-In-Command (Duty Officer) :
- Education Qualification and Experience: As per Recruitment Rules of CAPFS and relevant experience in the domain of Disaster Management may be preferred.
- Holding analogous post on regular basis OR Minimum 5 years service in the rank of Deputy Commandant (Level-11).
- Medical category SHAPE-!.
- Free from Disciplinary/ Vigilance angle.
- With minimum two years of service in the rank.
- APAR grading for the last five years should be Very Good.

- Free from Disciplinary/ Vigilance angle.
- With minimum three years of service in the rank APAR grading for the last five years should be Very Good.
- Clean records of service for the last five years and should have fulfilled the mandatory cooling-off period of three years after every period of previous deputation.
- The initial period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed seven years.
Technical Officer (Deputy Commandant Level officer):
- As per Recruitment Rules of CAPFs and relevant experience in the domain of Disaster Management may be preferred.
- Desirable Qualification: Having an Engineering/B.Sc./MSc. Degree Computer Science/Information Technology.
- Relevant experience in 5 Communication departments / Control rooms of CAPFs.
- Holding analogous post on regular basis OR Minimum 5 years service in the rank of Assistant Commandant (Level-10.
- Medical category SHAPE-1.
- Free from Disciplinary/ Vigilance angle.
- With minimum three years of service in the rank.
- APAR grading for the last five years should be Very Good.
- Clean records of service for the last five years and should have fulfilled the mandatory cooling-off period of three years after every period of previous deputation.

Inspector:
- Experience in the domain of Disaster Management may be preferred.
- Computer Science/information Technology: elevated/ experience
- Relevant experience in Communication departments / Control rooms of CAPFs.
- Holding analogous post on regular basis.
- Medical category SHAPE-1.
- Free from Disciplinary/ Vigilance angle.
- With minimum three years of service in the rank.
- APAR grading for the last five years should be Very Good.
- Clean records of service for last five years and should have fulfilled the mandatory cooling-off period of three years after every period of previous deputation.
