Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Bihar, is inviting applications for the position of JRF/Project Fellow under the IUAC funded project titled "Low to high energy phosphorous ion implantation in diamond single crystal."
The position requires an M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA, with an interest in research in experimental condensed matter physics, material science, or physical/inorganic chemistry. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of nanomaterial synthesis, thin film deposition, and ion implantation.
The monthly stipend ranges from Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 25,000, depending on NET/GATE qualification. Interested candidates must submit their applications within 21 days of the advertisement's publication. Qualification for MGCUB Recruitment 2024
- M.Sc. Physics/Chemistry with a minimum of 55% marks in Physics/Chemistry or equivalent CGPA with the interest in research in the area of Experimental Condensed Matter Physics/Material Science/Physical Chemistry/Inorganic Chemistry
- Candidates having the knowledge of nanomaterial synthesis, thin film deposition, Ion Implantation, familiar with SRIM/TRIM software etc. will be preferred.
Stipend for MGCUB Recruitment 2024
- Rs. 14000/- p.m. (without NET/GATE candidates will get fixed Rs.14000/ per month for two years and for the third year fellowship will be Rs.16000/-p.m.
- Any other allowance like HRA, Medical, etc. will not be paid).
- Rs.25000/- p.m. (NET/GATE qualified persons will be paid for two years and then after for the third year will be Rs.28000/- p.m.
- Any other allowance like HRA, Medical, etc. will not be paid).
Selection Procedure for MGCUB Recruitment 2024
- The selected candidate may be considered for admission to Ph.D. program as per the eligibility, rules and statutes of the University.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- The mode of interview, date, time and venue or link will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates via email only.
- Candidates shall bring along with them all the original degree(s)/certificate(s) and experience certificate(s) at the time of interview for verification.
- The candidate is expected to join immediately, if selected
