General Nursing & Midwifery Training(GNMT) School, Talcher invites application for engagement of 01 Principal I/C & 5 Sister tutors on Contractual Basis for an initial period of ELEVEN MONTHS. The contract may be extended for another eleven months depending upon requirement and satisfactory performance.
Applicants must not exceed 45 years of age and possess either an M.Sc. in Nursing or a related qualification. The Principal must have 15 years of experience, including 5 years in teaching, while Tutors require 10 years of experience, including 2 years in teaching. The selected candidates will receive consolidated monthly remuneration, with limited leave entitlements and no provision for regularization or absorption. Accommodation may be provided, subject to availability. Termination without reason, adherence to duty hours, and performance evaluation are outlined.

Qualifications Details for MCL Recruitment 2024
- M.Sc.Nursing
- M.Sc.Nursing or B.Sc. Nursing (Basic/Post Basic) or Diploma in Nursing Education and Administration)
- Principal - 15 years Experience (including minimum 5 years of teaching experience).
- Tutor – 10 years of experience (including a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience).
Age Limit for MCL Recruitment 2024
MCL is seeking applicants for the positions of Principal I/C and Sister Tutor at GNMT School, Talcher on a contractual basis. There are a total of 6 vacancies available. Candidates applying for these roles must be below 45 years of age. The engagement is for an initial period, with the possibility of extension based on performance and requirements.
Pay Scale for MCL Recruitment 2024
- During the contractual period of 11(Eleven) months they will be paid the consolidated remuneration of (₹97820/- per month in case of Sister Tutor In-charge / Principal & ₹80592/- per month in case of Sister Tutor).
- The contractual appointment will be automatically stand terminated after the completion of 11 (Eleven) months.
- During the period of contractual appointment they will be entitled for only casual leave of 10 (Ten) days. And 15 (Fifteen) days sick leave.
- This offer of contractual appointment will not confer any right; implicit and explicit for consideration of their case for regularization / absorption in GNMT School, Talcher.
Selection Process for MCL Recruitment 2024
- The applicants fulfilling the eligibility criteria and other conditions as per the notification shall be shortlisted and will be invited for interview for final selection.
- GNMT School reserves the right to short-list candidates for interview/selection process. No TA will be paid to any candidate for appearing interview/selection process.
