The role requires candidates to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology and a minimum of 7 years of experience in the Power Sector, including specific experience in Power Transmission.
The upper age limit for open category candidates is 40 years, extendable up to 45 years for reserved categories. The salary for the position ranges from Rs. 68,780 to Rs. 1,54,930 per month, along with additional benefits like DA, HRA, medical benefits, CPF, and gratuity.

Qualifications Details for MAHATRANSCO Recruitment 2024
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Technology
- Total 7 years’ experience in Power Sector. Out of which at least 4 years in the area of Power Transmission as Deputy Executive Engineer & Assistant Engineer. OR 2 years as Deputy Executive Engineer.
- A Degree should be from a University or Institute in India, established or incorporated under Central Act or a State Act or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
Age Limit for MAHATRANSCO Recruitment 2024
- The upper age limit for outsider candidate is 40 Years for OPEN Candidates.
- The upper age limit for Reserved Category including SEBC, EWS & Orphan candidates applying for reserved vacancy is relaxable upto 45 years.
- The upper age limit for Persons with Disability (Divyang) applying for reserved vacancy is relaxable up to 45 years.
- The upper age limit for candidates applying against Sports Quota is relaxable upto 43 years in any case.
- The upper age limit for departmental candidates (only MSETCL Employees) is 57 years.
- Date of Birth as per SSC/School leaving certificate should be mentioned in the Application Form. The age will be considered as on 31.07.2024 i.e. last date of submission of the application.
Pay Scale for MAHATRANSCO Recruitment 2024
- The selected candidate will draw salary in the pay scale of Rs. 68780-2730-82430- 2900-154930.
- In addition to basic pay, the selected candidate will be entitled to DA, HRA, Medical Benefits, CPF, Gratuity etc. as per Company’s Rules. Candidates may also be provided Office Quarter as per Company’s Rules, in lieu of HRA, if required by candidate and if available.
- The present approximate Monthly Gross Emoluments shall be Rs. 1,16,970/- (without office accommodation).
Application Fee for MAHATRANSCO Recruitment 2024
The candidate should pay application fee (including GST) as under :
- Open Caste Category: Rs. 700/-
- Reserved Caste Category, SEBC, EWS & Orphan: Rs. 350/-
- Application Fee shall not be applicable to Divyang persons for whom the post is reserved.
Selection Process for MAHATRANSCO Recruitment 2024
- Pre-requisites are minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle the candidate to be called for Selection Process.
- The selection process shall comprise of Written Test (Online Test) & Personal Interview.
- All the candidates who registered successfully will be called for Written Test (Online Test) without verifying their eligibility. However, candidate should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility criteria before applying. The verification of certificates/documents/eligibility of shortlisted candidates shall be done before calling them for Personal Interview
- The weightage for Written Test & Personal Interview shall be 95:5
