Age Limit for Madras High Court Recruitment 2024
Candidates should not have been born after 01.07.2006 and should have attained 18 years of age as on 01.07.2024. The maximum age limit for reserved categories such as SC / SC(A) / ST / MBC & DC / BC / BCM is 37 years. Candidates belonging to BC, BCM, MBC & DC, and other unreserved (UR) categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 1000/- for each post. SC, SC(A), and ST candidates from Tamil Nadu or Puducherry are exempt from paying the fee, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. Differently Abled Persons with a disability of not less than 40% and Destitute Widows holding a valid "Destitute Widow Certificate" from designated authorities are also eligible for fee exemption.
Selection Process for Madras High Court Recruitment 2024
- The selection process for candidates will consist of three stages. First, there will be a Preliminary Examination conducted using the OMR method, which carries 100 marks. This stage serves as a qualifying round for advancing to the next level of the examination.
- Candidates who qualify will then proceed to the Main Examination, also worth 100 marks. Finally, there will be a Viva-voce (oral interview) round, which carries 25 marks. The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance across these three stages.
