Candidates must be IRSE Officers in PML-14 of the 7th CPC or Engineering Executives in IDA scale E8, or have 16 years of experience in PML-13 or IDA scale E6. The age limit is below 55 years for deputation and below 57 years for permanent absorption. The pay scale is PB-4 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of 10000, as per the 7th CPC pay matrix level-14.

Qualifications Details for KRCL Recruitment 2024
- Job Description Chief Engineer is responsible for the construction and maintenance of all civil engineering assets, viz all buildings including station buildings, residential quarter, hospital, sheds, workshop structures, goods sheds etc., water supply and sanitary installations, Railway tracks, sidings and all allied structures, Bridges including Road over bridges and Road under bridges.
Eligibility
- IRSE Officer working in PML-14 of 7th CPC or Engineering Executive working in other PSU in IDA scale E8 (Rs.1,20,000-2,80,000)
- working in PML-13 of 7th CPC with 16 years experience or Civil Engineering Executive working in other PSU in IDA scale E6 (Rs.90,000-2,40,000) with 16 years experience.
- He/She will be reporting to Director(Way & Works)/ KRCL
- The applicants will not allowed to withdraw their names in cases they are selected for deputation.
Age Limit for KRCL Recruitment 2024
- Below 55 years as on the date of notification (Deputation).
- Below 57 years as on the date of notification (Permanent absorption).
Pay Scale for KRCL Recruitment 2024
- PB-4 37400-67000 with GP 10000/- As per 7th CPC pay Matrix level -14.
- The officer will draw pay and allowances as per DOPT instructions. which would have been admissible to him/her from time to time on the Railways plus deputation (duty) allowance.

- Apropos Railway Board letter no. 2018/E(O)II/41/1 dated 08/02/2023, the application of officers working in Zonal Railways/PUs for deputation to Railway PSUs/Autonomous Bodies and all other Organizations will be forwarded with the approval of the Competent Authority in Ministry. Accordingly, all Zonal Railways/PUs are required to forward the applications of the officers to Railway Board well in advance, i.e. at least 07 days prior to the last date of vacancy notice. KRCL will consider applications of only those officers whose applications are forwarded by Railway Board.
- The officer may forward an advance copy with above enclosures on email id: [email protected] also on or before 21/08/2024 at 17:30 hrs.
- Selection criteria will be as mentioned in Ministry of Railway, Railway Board's letter No.2017/E(O)II/41/5 dated 25/05/2017 and no. 2018/E(O)II/41/1 dated 07/03/2018.
