Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) is seeking applications for the position of Executive Director/Project on a re-employment basis. The vacancy is for one post, and the location is Belapur. Interested candidates must hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent and have a minimum of 15 years of regular service in the Executive cadre in Indian Railways/Indian Railway PSUs.
Additionally, candidates should possess over 25 years of experience in Civil Engineering works, including project management, alignment design, survey, and construction. Experience in execution of railway projects is preferred. The selected candidate will be placed in SG in 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-13 with Grade Pay Rs. 8700/-, with pay and allowances governed as per Railway Board guidelines.
The age limit for applicants is not more than 62 years as of the date of notification. Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format along with required documents by email to [email protected] before 09/05/2024. - Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) invites applications for one post of Executive Director/Project in the format prescribed in from retired employees of Indian Railways/CPSUs on a re-emplovment basis

Qualification for Konkan Railway Recruitment 2024
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent
- The applicant must be an Indian Citizen and of sound health. The applicant should have work experience as an Officer in Indian Railways/Indian Railway PSUs with a minimum of 15 years of regular service in the Executive cadre and retirement from SG and above Grade.
- Should have more than 25 years of experience in Civil Engineering works.
- Experience involving alignment design, survey, investigation, preparation of Detailed Project Report, Preliminary Engineering cum Traffic Survey, co-ordination with designers and proof checkers, planning, estimation, BOQ, execution of works, preparation of Tender documents, Invitation of Tender and its finalization, Contract Management of railway/road projects.
- Experience in execution of railway projects will be preferred.
- Candidate should also have minimum 12 years experience in new line/gauge conversion/doubling projects, which can involve earthwork in embankment/ cutting, construction of bridges/tunnels/station buildings, approach road/feeder road,
- construction of reinforced earth slope, ensuring quality and safety of the work, compliance to various Labour laws, coordination for commissioning of new lines for passenger services, Liaison with State / Iocal Authorities etc
Pay Scale for Konkan Railway Recruitment 2024
SG in 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-13 with Grade Pay Rs. 8700/- Pay and allowance will be governed as per the Railway Board Guideline issued from time to time (i.e. last month's basic minus pension). Allowances are applicable on the last basic pay without deducting pension.

Depending on the requirement of various projects of KRCL, transferable to any of KRCL Project sites as per requirement.
Age Limit for Konkan Railway Recruitment 2024
- Not more than 62 years as on date of notification
- Re-employed personnel who join KRCL after 55 years of age and their family members will be entitled to reimbursement of premium of any recognised insurance company subject to upper ceiling limit of Rs. 1350/- per month, i.e. Rs. 16,200/- per annum for self and family together for indoor treatment.
- The reimbursement will be made on production of the original receipt.
