Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (Konkan Railway) is recruiting a Chief Engineer for their Navi Mumbai location. Qualification for Konkan Railway Recruitment 2024
Job Description:
Chief Engineer is responsible for the construction and maintenance of all civil engineering assets, viz all buildings including station buildings, residential quarter, hospital, sheds, workshop structures, goods sheds etc., water supply and sanitary installations, Rallway tracks, sidings and all allied structures, Bridges including Road over bridges and Road under bridges.
Eligibility:
IRSE Officer working in PML-14 of 7th CPC or Engineering Executive working in other PSU in IDA scale E8 (Rs.1,20,000-2,80,000) OR Officers of IRSE cadre of Indian Railways and working in PML-13 of 7th CPC with 16 years experience or Civil Engineering Executive working in other PSU in IDA scale E6 (Rs.90,000-2,40,000) with 16 years experience.
He/She will be reporting to Director(Way & Works)/ KRCL The applicants will not allowed to withdraw their names in cases they are selected for deputation.
Pay Scale for Konkan Railway Recruitment 2024
SAG PB-4 Rs.37400-67000 with GP 10000/- As per 7th CPC pay Matrix level -14. The officer will draw pay and allowances as per DOPT instructions. which would have been admissible to him/her from time to time on the Railways plus deputation (duty) allowance.

- Apropos Railway Board letter no. 2018/E(0) 1/41/1 dated 08/02/2023, the application of officers working in Zonal Railways/PUs for deputation to Railway PSUs/Autonomous Bodies and all other Organizations will be forwarded with the approval of the Competent Authority in Ministry.
- Accordingly, all Zonal Railways/PUs are required to forward the applications of the officers to Railway Board well in advance, i.e. at least 07 days prior to the last date of vacancy notice.
- KRCL will consider applications of only those officers whose applications are forwarded by Railway Board.
