Konkan Railway is hiring for the position of Deputy Chief Traffic Manager. The role is open to Group 'A' IRTS officers who have at least 6 years of service and are currently in JAG/SS. The position is based in Belapur, Navi Mumbai. Applicants must be under 45 years of age.

The job involves planning and monitoring safety drives, managing train operations, coordinating with other railways and the Railway Board, and handling various administrative tasks. The pay scale is at Level-12 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, with pay and allowances as per DOPT instructions, including deputation allowance.

• Apropos to Railway Board letter no. 2018/E(O)II/41/1 dated 08/02/2023, the application of officers working in Zonal Railways/PUs for deputation to Railway PSUs/Autonomous Bodies and all other Organizations will be forwarded with the approval of the Competent Authority in Ministry.
• Accordingly, all Zonal Railways/PUs are required to forward the applications of the officers to Railway Board Ministry well in advance, i.e. at least 07 days prior to the last date of vacancy notice. KRCL will consider applications of only those officers whose applications are forwarded by Railway Board.
• The officer will draw pay which would have been admissible to him/her from time to time on the Railways plus deputation (duty) allowance.
