KMRL, the Kochi Metro Rail Limited, is seeking a Chief Security Officer for a single position, with a salary of Rs. 1,00,000 per month. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute and have a minimum of 15 years of Commissioned Service in the Army/Navy/Air Force, or be a retired Police officer not below the rank of Superintendent of Police, or a retired officer not below the rank of Commandant with a minimum of 15 years of service in Para Military Forces.
The age limit for applicants is between 56 and 62 years as of June 1, 2024, with the possibility of re-employment for an initial term of three years, extendable up to 65 based on performance and discretion. The primary responsibility of the Chief Security Officer will be overseeing all security functions within KMRL.

Qualifications Details for KMRL Recruitment 2024
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute
- The candidate should be a retd. officer with minimum 15 years of Commissioned Service in the Army/Navy/Air Force Or The candidate should be a Police officer retd. not below the rank of Superintendent of Police or equivalent with minimum 15 years of Service. Or The candidate should be a retd. officer not below the rank of Commandant with minimum 15 years of Service in Para Military Forces
Age Limit for KMRL Recruitment 2024
The age range for employment as of June 1, 2024, is between 56 and 62 years. Individuals can be employed on a re-employment basis for an initial term of three years, with the possibility of extensions based on performance, conduct, and management discretion, up to the age of 65.
Pay Scale for KMRL Recruitment 2024
The appointed Chief Security Officer for KMRL on a re-employment basis, equivalent to E4 grade, will receive a consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 1,00,000 (One Lakh). Their primary responsibility will be overseeing all security functions within KMRL.
Selection Process for KMRL Recruitment 2024
- Only shortlisted candidates will be notified for interview, which will be communicated through email id registered with KMRL. No other mode of communication will be attempted.
- KMRL reserves the right to shortlist the applicants for Interview
